Saturday Crafternoon: DIY Pallet Bed

Good afternoon, everyone! It is good for you to be here today! Wow! It is the weekend already. I hope that your day is filled with beauty, adventure and whimsy and that you get to spend it with your cherished ones. Today has been my day to catch up on some much-needed housework and research how to apply something called “design thinking” to business strategy. Interesting, hey? Kinda, sorta, most definitely… Anyhoo…

Speaking of design, today is… you guessed it… Saturday Crafternoon here on This Darling Adventure! If you like the look of “shabby chic” home decor or you just really want to save some money on furniture for your home (no shame), then this project is absolutely perfect for you. Today, I would like to share with you a project made entirely of reclaimed pallets: a DIY Pallet Bed. Check it out!

There are all sorts of ways to make a bed frame out of pallets. Andy and I chose to keep things relatively simple, just dressing our headboard up with some awesome strings of LEDs and a couple macrame hanging plants. But if you choose to embark on a DIY pallet bed-making project for your home, here are some other ideas to get you started. Make it your own and remember to have fun with it!

Have you made any furniture out of reclaimed pallets? If so, what? Please feel at home to comment below! It is always a pleasure to hear from you! 🙂

  1. I have not made any furniture out of anything at all BUT I did have my own crafternoon today and made a fascinator so I feel like that almost counts! They both begin with F. That’s good enough!
